Hi, I’m Sirli – but here, you can call me õpS.
I’m an English teacher with a background that may seem a little unexpected –
I hold a Master’s degree in Applied Geology. I’ve been teaching English since 2017, working with learners from kindergarten children to adults.
For me, language learning is not about memorising rules or being afraid of mistakes. It’s about understanding, trying, communicating and gradually finding the confidence to use English in real life.
My approach is practical and encouraging. I want learners to understand why something works, but even more importantly, to feel comfortable using what they know. Mistakes are part of the process — they mean you’re learning.
That’s also the idea behind LinguaEST: English that goes beyond textbooks. Language you can understand, use and make your own.

õps is short for õpetaja – teacher in Estonian – with the S adding my own signature: Sirli. But it also represents the way I believe learning should feel: clear, practical and human.
You don’t need perfect English to start speaking. You need the courage to try, the freedom to make mistakes and someone who helps you move forward.
